Texas People Federal Credit Union

Fort Worth T & P FCU now known as Texas People Federal Credit Union:
is a not - for - profit financial cooperative owned by and operated for our members.

FWTPFCU was chartered in July 1946 to serve the employees of the Texas & Pacific Railroad. Since then, FWTPFCU has been chosen as the credit union for Missouri Pacific Railroad through a merger in the 1960's, and a second merger with Union Pacific Railroad in 1982. A decision was made to maintain the original name of Fort Worth T & P Federal Credit Union however in late 2003 the Board of Directors voted to change the name to Texas People Federal Credit Union. Today Texas People Federal Credit Union is the credit union for various other sponsor groups.
